I've pretty much re-located the business musings to the Designs by Victoria blog. Come on over and check things out.

It's shaping up to be a busy summer for me.



Next weekend, I'll be vending on Saturday (the 20th) at the Fremont Fair, splitting the weekend with rivkasmom, who will be vending on Sunday.

On Saturday, July 11th, I'll be setting up a table at the Steampunk Garage Sale, located at the All Pilgrim’s Church (lower level), 500 Broadway E, Seattle, WA 98102, from 12-6pm.



For the first three weekends in August, I'll be at the Washington Renaissance Fantasy Festival, at its new home in Buckley, Washington.



And once I get through all this, I'll have a little time to recover for my next event in October, the month that marks my 10th anniversary as a business! I will be vending Steam-Con, the first annual Seattle Steampunk Convention.

The JET Holiday Mouse has been frustrated with the hassle of driving to the mall and fighting with other shoppers,so she has decided to do ALLLLLL her shopping here at Etsy, the PERFECT place for all her holiday gifts! And it's your job to follow her!

Each shop has a listing in which they've hidden a picture of a mouse wearing a Santa hat




Your job is to find the listing in each shop that has the picture. This listing will then direct you to the next shop. Record the shop names in the order in which you visit them. There are a total of 25 shops participating in the Treasure Hunt. Once you reach the last shop, send your list of shops to Jeweled Blossoms. (in the sidebar, there will be a "contact Jeweled Blossoms" link)


WINNERS:
The first 5 people who send the complete list of 25 shops in order will receive prizes. Everyone else who participates and sends a list will be put into a drawing and 20 winners will be drawn. And for the next two weeks, the Jewelry on Etsy team is having their holiday sale!

Usually a piece speaks to me during the course of creation, and the story grows as the chain lengthens. These two pieces, however, were a mystery to me, and I relied on the input of friends and loved ones to help me find their voice.

I slacked off at my updates on new items posted. I'm just short of my goal of having 200 items listed for the holidays. Here's some more of my Celtic knot and Y-necklaces, plus a couple of new parasols, plus I had a rather slow weekend at Foolscap, but lots of lovely new steampunk pieces resulted. I also just acquired a large lot of extremely tiny watch parts, and my subconscious is stewing as to what to do with them, so expect more new work posted shortly.
